Butler University Lecture

In September 2024, IBO Artistic Director Barthold Kuijken gave a lovely lecture at Butler University School of Music about why J.S. Bach didn’t didn’t write more dynamics and articulations in his compositions.

Indiana University Lecture

In September 2024, IBO Artistic Director Barthold Kuijken gave a fascinating lecture about inegale in different countries at the Historical Performance Institute at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.

Indiana University Masterclass

In Februrary 2024, world-renowned flutist and IBO Artistic Director Barthold Kuijken gave a masterclass to students at Indiana University.

Center Grove High School Masterclass

In November 2023, IBO Musicians Tom Gerber, Marika Holmqvist, and Erica Rubis coached orchestra students at Center Grove High School on Corelli’s Christmas Concerto for their upcoming concert.

University of Indianapolis Masterclass

In March 2023, flutist Leighann Daihl Ragusa gave an introductory class on ornamentation to students, alumni, and local-area flutists at the University of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Suzuki Academy

In January and February of 2023, harpsichordist Tom Gerber visited piano group classes while violist Rachel Gries visited violin group classes at the Indianapolis Suzuki Academy.

Butler University
